Kate Goodwin  - Kate grew up in the Niagara Region and made Ottawa her home after moving to the area in order to attend the University of Ottawa, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005. Since graduating Kate has enjoyed her career in nursing as a Registered Nurse, starting out in mental health at a local hospital in the acute care setting. Her love for community nursing began in 2006 when joined a community mental health outreach team where she specialized in community mental health and addictions. With a passion for helping others, Kate provides client centred care. She gained experience using a strength based approach and excels at using recovery focused philosophy to provide compassionate care. Excellent at coordinating care and connecting with community resources with over 13 years experience. She is a member of the College of Registered Nurses of Ontario.

  Fiona Jager  - Fiona has worked as a Registered Nurse since 2006. She has considerable experience with addiction, mental health and outreach work. As a mental health nurse, she has companioned individuals and their families as they navigate the health and social services system, integrate experiences of loss, seek personal growth and wellbeing, struggle with difficult transitions, and work to improve relationships. Fiona believes every individual has unique strengths, and is committed to a collaborative, person-centred, recovery-based model of care. Fiona is experienced in Cognitive Behavioural techniques, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-based therapies. She is a member of the College of Registered Nurses of Ontario, of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, and of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists.

She believes in the resiliency of people and in recovery presenting at several conferences throughout North America helping agencies make space for a recovery based practice.
