  Fiona has worked as a Registered Nurse since 2006. She has considerable experience with addiction, mental health and outreach work. As a mental health nurse, she has companioned individuals and their families as they navigate the health and social services system, integrate experiences of loss, seek personal growth and wellbeing, struggle with difficult transitions, and work to improve relationships. Fiona believes every individual has unique strengths, and is committed to a collaborative, person-centred, recovery-based model of care.  Fiona is experienced in Cognitive Behavioural techniques, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-based therapies.  She is a member of the College of Registered Nurses of Ontario, of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, and of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists.

   Jill was born and raised in Ottawa.  She graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and naturally became a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.  Since graduating, Jill has worked on a community mental health outreach team helping people with mental illness.  Experienced in providing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing along with a variety of other counselling techniques, in helping those with a range of mental health difficulties.  Jill uses a strength based and client centered approach.  She believes in the resiliency of people and in recovery presenting at several conferences throughout North America helping agencies make space for a recovery based practice.
